The Virus-Evicted from the Breakers

I imagine that the last thing I expected at 4;00 on March 16 was a call in our room that we had to leave by 4:00 on Wednesday
-March 18—the Hotel was closing.
Needless to say, we were shocked—
Not only were we planning on staying almost another Month but we had clothes, car appointments and no place to go in Palm Beach–now dont cry for us I know that it could be much worse and it gets worse .
Anyway, we came back to Chicago—a cold locked down city that was beginning to look like a war zone with all the stores starting to board up.
We were banished to our apartment and began a journey quite different than anything we had experienced in 52 years of
marriage.
